New Sweden Match Racing Team is a young, up and coming racing team consisting

of Caroline Sylvan, Louise Kruuse af Verchou, Lina Hamel and Frida Langenius.

Our common match racing commitment was established during the year of 2010.

We are now a part of the GKSS Elite Team, which is a group of successful GKSS

sailors who are serious about the sport.

Our yacht club is GKSS - The Royal Yacht Club of Gothenburg, who has a close

cooporation with skilled and excperienced coaches for sailing as well as physical

training, to who we can access. We also have the possibility to practice together

with and against some of the worlds best match racing teams.

A deep commitment, obstinacy and happiness are a few of our common code of

conducts.

We still have a lot to learn, about our selves as well as our boat, but we are

definately looking forward to all challenges, successes, setbacks and the joyful times

we know we will face during our time together as a team.

Since women's match racing has become a part of the Olympic Games, we are highly

determined to do our very best to be the one and only team to represent Sweden.
